On February 9, 2015, on Radio-Canada, economist and philosopher Alain Deneault was interviewed by Marie-France Bazzo. In a straightforward way, he clarifies the repercussions of tax evasion on society, both nationally and internationally. None better than Deneault summarizes the correlation between tax evasion - as it is supported by political institutions, and the direct consequences in our daily lives.
In a playful choreography, Alix Dufresne and Marc Béland interpret the verbatim of the interview to highlight how tax evasion affects us daily. On the fringe of documentary theatre and dance, Hidden Paradise confronts the scene with the harshness of reality and current issues.
