After Snow White, Still Life and Helikopter, Angelin Preljocaj returns to La Villette with Playlist, a program of excerpts from his repertory. This programme expresses the entire breadth of the choreographer’s vocabulary, his predilection for literature, his taste for human beings’ introspection and the value of symbols. It is a pure concentrate of virtuoso dance for an immersion into a state of grace or euphoric contemplation. It is haute-couture, made-to-measure to fit the anatomy of the dancers who give life to his vision. Adapted to La Villette, Playlist #2 testifies to a journey through time to revisit and enjoy his work.
