Presentation

A doubly musical evening that blurs all divides of style and influence.

Constantly looking for new textures of sound, master percussionist Lucie Antunes is an adept of classical and pop-rock music alike. In After the fall, with her electro accomplice Franck Berthoux, she ventures down the meandering roads of the borderline, swerving from mental illnesses to uncontrolled anger. A way to bring us to the limits and evoke with a sensitive poetry these fragile tipping points where we come to our senses.

It’s at the heart of a vast forest lost in the mountain that Penelope Antena settled alone for more than a year to create Antelope. Surrounded by the instruments of her grand-father, Marc Moulin (great Belgian jazz and electronic music composer), she let a breath of folk gush into her songs, and her voice become a laboratory of harmonies and sounds that subtly entangle intimacy, instinct and ghosts.
