A breathtaking wind of freedom.
Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe is one of the Flemish avant-garde’s most unique artists. His work fuses together past, present and far away future into a utopian and radical tale. Around a fire, eight naked performers ritually reclaim Claudio Monteverdi’s songs of love and war. Here, the rhythm of a world totally freed from its dogmas pulsates. From all walks of life - only two are trained singers - this artistic community anchors music at the heart of civilization as a ground zero for new kinds of talents. Galvanized by composer Jesse Kanda’s partition - who notably worked with Björk, Arca and FKA Twigs - the drive for freedom takes off from the lair of humanity.
