As per usual at La Villette, the artistic year’s ball starts under the marquee! Cnac’s end-of-year shows mark the take-off of freshly graduated talents who are already rich in experiences. Director, tightrope walker, and aerialist, Marie Molliens grew up in the circus and is today at the head of the family company Raposo. She was invited to create the next show. Her creations explore the state of the world, that of the circus, as well as danger and femininity, through a powerful body expression. On stage, German wheel, corde lisse, acro-dance, juggling, Cyr wheel, swinging trapeze, tissues, tightrope, Chinese pole and Korean plank create a dialogue teetering towards impatient eclosion mixed with the rage and hope of this 34th promotion.
