Bartabas

Creation 2020

Bartabas returns to La Villette with a creation for the Equestrian Academy of Versailles. This time, he revisits the world of Stravinsky, whose work was a landmark in twentieth-century music. This is not the first time Bartabas has focused on the brilliant composer; in the early 2000s, he worked with the Théâtre Zingaro on the performance Triptyk, which also featured a piece by Pierre Boulez, Dialogue de l'Ombre Double ('Dialogue of the Double Shadow').This show was a massive worldwide hit.

In this new creation with the horses and equerries of the National Equestrian Academy of Versailles, he pays a vibrant tribute to this outstanding composer whose works have gradually become classic performance pieces.
