A cult Korean show, Body Concert has been sparking joy since its creation at Seoul’s Arko Arts Theatre in 2010. In an explosive wink to the history of dance, seven performers twirl like flexible ninjas, mixing hip-hop, contemporary dance, classical ballet, and clubbing. Ambiguous Dance Company’s super show carries all styles in mind-blowing choreographed segments of groups, duos, and solos. On the frenzied stage, the community of performers stand in bathing suits, then in jacket-shirts and colorful leggings. They assert their uniqueness to better become one together and unleash a generous dance topped with a good dollop of humor.
