Danish choreographer and dancer Mette Ingvartsen is interested in a wide range of choreographic practices, combining dance and movement with other fields such as visual arts, technology, language, and theory. Skatepark transforms the space of representation into a place of meetings and exchanges between a score of performers and the audience. The hybrid distribution masters several high-level body techniques and takes pleasure in pushing sensations to the extreme. The sliding space conceived in collaboration with skaters and street artists sets the stage for skating, biking, and defying gravity, but also listening to music, talking, laughing, singing, and dancing.
