GOLDEN STAGE

Since 2015, the Golden Stage gathers the best of hip-hop for three evenings on a shared set. The 2023 program includes two explosive, festive and heartwarming performances, in line with hip-hop’s values and diversity. The evening is set ablaze by speaker Lydie la Peste’s groove. Blondy Mota-Kisoka Bot's kingdom A specialist in robot technique, Blondy plunges us into a visual and virtual immersion, stemming from the 1970s cinematographic imagination. Six talented and impactful dancers sublime the techniques of a little-known artistic movement. Precise and compact, robot style forms the basis of so-called pop dances. Josepha Madoki D.I.S.C.O Josépha Madoki came up with the acronym “Don’t Initiate Social Contact with Others”, which merges with a musical genre bearer of freedom and party: disco. With clubbing, social dances, glamor, and extravagance, two dancers take over the dancefloor animated by a DJ. Original waacking is a call to experience, for a night, a total and needed release of tension.
