Game. This is what lies at the heart of the latest creation by choreographers Joke Laureyns and Kwint Manshoven, also known as Kabinet K. Game and everything that it brings: not only nonchalance and pleasure but also rules, rivalry and alliances. Everything that it reveals in inventiveness, ingenuity, confidence and strategy.

On stage, seven children and three adults embrace the rules or ignore them, renew them or conceal them in accordance with a set framework within which anything is possible. They draw the boundaries and jump over them; and every decision impacts the game, offering the audience new perspectives. With music by Thomas Smetryns, it too propitious to recomposition and surprises, the group organises itself around construction and deconstruction, movement and immobility, freedom and ferocity, with nobody knowing beforehand what the eventual outcome will be.
